This role requires hands-on expertise in electronic security solutions, with the ability to install, maintain, and support Access Control, CCTV, Alarm Systems, and Biometric Technologies across multiple sites.
Minimum Requirements
• Matric certificate (Grade 12)
• Valid PSIRA registration
• No criminal record
• 3–5 years in field experience in the electronic security field (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of CCTV platforms, alarm systems, access control, and biometric technologies
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware/software issues
• Computer literacy and familiarity with monitoring/control room software
• Basic networking skills
• Valid RSA driver’s license• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skillsKey Responsibilities• Install, configure, and maintain CCTV, alarm panels, biometric systems, and access control solutions
• Diagnose and resolve technical faults independently
• Conduct preventative maintenance and system audits to ensure optimal performance
• Provide technical leadership on-site and support project rollouts
• Train and mentor junior staff where required
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards
