X 25 Positions -Grade C Security Officers
REQUIREMENTS
Grade 10-12
PSIRA certification – Grade C.The ability to read, write and communicate in English and Afrikaans.
Knowledge of Access Egress Control.Clear Criminal Record.
Cleared MIE Criminal Record.
Minimum 3 years of experience
Have to reside in Upington, Kakamas and Keimoes area or be willing to relocate.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Basic Egress/ Access Control DutiesAccess & Egress Control
Visitor Management
Verify identities and confirm appointments before granting entry
Vehicle Inspection
Conduct thorough searches of all vehicles entering and exiting the premises to prevent unauthorized removal of assets
Documentation
Maintain accurate registers for personnel, contractors, and stock movement Egress control
Gate House Operation
Operate boom gates, turnstiles, and electronic access systems professionally
Safety Inspections
Identify and report fire hazards, water leaks, or unsecured doors during night-time rounds. Occurrence Book (OB)
Ensure every shift event is detailed correctly in the OB with clear, factual language
