A shocking incident in South Africa has left a community reeling after Pastor Rapelang Moseki allegedly assaulted his ex-cousin, Thompho R Sekgothe, and attempted to burn down their home while it was occupied by a heavily pregnant woman and her children.

According to reports, Moseki reportedly set fire to the house in what witnesses described as a deliberate attempt to endanger the lives of the residents. The attack reportedly followed a family dispute, and the victims narrowly escaped serious harm.
Instead of facing immediate arrest, it is alleged that Moseki is being shielded by his mother, who is reportedly hiding him from authorities. Community members have expressed outrage over the perceived lack of swift action by law enforcement, calling for urgent intervention to protect the victims and bring Moseki to justice. The incident has raised serious concerns about domestic violence, attempted murder, and the protection of vulnerable residents, including children and pregnant women, in South African communities.
Police have been urged to investigate the matter fully, ensure the safety of the victims, and apprehend the suspect, who remains at large. Community leaders are also calling for stronger enforcement to prevent similar violent incidents in the future.
