Bus Gutted By Fire After Returning From Valentine Celebration
Zimbabwe Border – A bus travelling from Lusaka, Zambia, to Johannesburg, South Africa, was completely destroyed by fire in the early hours of Friday morning near the Zimbabwe border. The incident, which occurred at approximately 05:30, fortunately left all passengers and crew unharmed.
Firefighters arrived on the scene shortly after the blaze was reported, but by then the bus had already been extensively damaged. Preliminary assessments suggest that the fire may have started in the engine compartment, although investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause.
